Motorola is launching DEXT, the Google Android based handset by early October this year. It will be available on Orange exclusively for UK consumers. This will be second adroid handset offered by Orange after HTC Hero. DEXT is known as CLIQ in US markets.
Tech specs include a touchscreen, slide out qwerty keyboard and come in two colours; black and white. Other features include a 5 megapixel camera, video watching and recording functionality, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and HDSPA and Wifi connectivity. Storage will come via a A removable 2GB MicroSD card rather than in-built storage.
Motorola DEXT will come with a customized skin known as Motoblur, to give different experience with Android at heart.
