Samsung Ativ ( A Windows 8 RT tablet)

Running the lighter Windows 8 RT, the Ativ Tab is powered by an ARM chipset, like millions of phones and other hand held devices. 

Although the hardware specifications are not in par with iPads or Samsung's very own Galaxy tabs, It seems this is an effort show the world capabilities of Windows 8 RT on modest hardware.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2

Samsung new tablet can be termed as affordable quality.  This 7" tablet will be the first one to feature Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) straight from the factory.

The tablet is powered by a dual-core 1 GHz CPU, and has a 1 GB of RAM. Its 7" screen has resolution  of 1024x600. Other than that, the tablet sports a 3 MP primary and a front VGA camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, a 3.5 mm jack, microSD card slot, and a 4000 mAh battery. The device measures 7.6" (l) x 4.8" (w) x 0.4" (10 mm) (d), and weighs 344 grammes.

Users will be able to choose between 8, 16, and 32 GB variants.  Pricing is supposed to be $250 which roughly around Rs. 13000/- in India.

Samsung ST93

Superzooms from Samsung HZ35W and HZ30W

Samsung has unveiled its new superzooms the HZ35W and HZ30W compacts. Both the new cameras increase their zoom ranges to 15x and image stabilized, starting at a very useful 24mm equivalent. The HZ35W (WB650 in Europe) includes built-in GPS and a 3.0" AMOLED display while the HZ30W (WB600) has neither, instead featuring a 3.0" LCD. Both cameras feature 12.2MP sensors and 720p HD video recording using H.264 compression. They succeed the TL320 (WB) and HZ15W (WB).

Samsung launched MystEco series monitors

Samsung launched new MystEco Series of TFT monitors in the Indian market. The new series claims to offers complete display solutions to the consumers for their entertainment and business needs.

The most important feature these TFT monitors is its power saving capabilities. Power consumption can be set at 100 percent/ 75 percent / 50 percent with a single hot key. In addition, it comes with a dynamic contrast ratio of 70000:1, lateral plug-in, 16:9 wide format panel and is HD ready.

A features known as "Magic Angle", is a three step angle management process where the screen does not lose clarity, even when viewing angel is changed.

The new Samsung monitor models that have been launched include: B1630N (15.6"), B1930N (18.5"), B2030N (20") and B2230N (21.5") and are priced at Rs.6350/-, Rs. 8300/-, Rs. 8700/- and Rs. 11000/- respectively.

Samsung Shark S5550

Another entry level phone from Samsung. The Shark S5550 comes with a 2.2-inch AMOLED screen and sports an impressive 5 mega pixel auto-focus camera. It supports dual band 3G with 3.6 MBPS and, along with that, also has support for quad-band GSM for worldwide roaming. It also has the same spec sheet in connectivity with Bluetooth 2.1, USB 2.0 and an expandable memory through a MicroSD card as with other siblings. It also has 110 MB worth of inbuilt memory.

Samsung Shark S3550

Samsung Shark S3550 is a compact slider phone. It has a 2-inch QVGA display and quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity options. It also has a decent 2-megapixel fixed focused camera. Other highlights of this low budget phone are – MicroSD expansion, USB 2.0 support and Bluetooth 2.1.

Samsung Shark S5350

After sweeping the low end touch screen phone market with Corby series, Samsung has announced the entry level market with Shark Series.

The Samsung Shark S5350 is a bar phone. It has a 2.2-inch QVGA screen with a color support of up to 262K colors. It is 3G enabled with 3.6MBPS HSDPA. It also supports quad band GSM and sports a 3.2 MP camera. Its defining feature is that it is has thin 11.9 mm figure. It also scores in the local connectivity department with Bluetooth and USB support and also features expansion through a MicroSD slot.

Samsung S5230 and S5600

Up here is Samsung's pair of fresh ones destined for Europe over the coming months. The S5230 tops out at EDGE speeds but features a commendable 3-inch WQVGA display, 3 megapixel camera, microSD expansion, FM radio, and naturally, TouchWiz -- and it's all a mere 11.9mm thin. The other one is real high-speed S5600 at 7.2Mbps HSDPA on the 900 and 2100MHz bands -- only problem is, you've got to step down to a 2.8-inch QVGA display to get it. It'll slide into retail come May, while the S5320 gets a little bit of a jump start, hitting shelves in April.

Samsung 12 megapixels

This one is TL320 from Samsung Electronics two 12 mega-pixel compact digital cameras boasting 24mm ultra-wide angle Schneider lenses. As for the ZH15W, that one checks in with a dozen megapixels even, a 10x optical zoom, a 3-inch LCD monitor, 720p movie mode and most of the same features as the aforementioned cousin.

Samsung i7110 smart phone

Samsung showcased it's latest Smartphone, the I7110, is S60 for the first time at London's Symbian Smartphone Show. This bar type Symbian and S60 OS-based phone, features 2.6’’ QVGA AMOLED screen, FM radio, DNSe 2.0, GPS Navigation (Geo-Tagging, Pedestrian & Driving), optical mouse, accelerometer, 3D games (FIFA 2008, Asphalt), with DLNA compatibility.

It also comes with Bluetooth v2.0, USB 2.0, WiFi, 50MB memory, an external memory slot (up to 16GB), 5Mpix camera (CMOS with AF and LED flash). It's equipped with a video player (DivX / H.263 / H.264 / WMV /MP4, RV), and music player (MP3 / AAC / AAC+ /eACC+ / WMA / RealAudio).

Based on Symbian OS v9.3, the I7110 is optimized for convergence with performance and feature enhancements, bringing the highest level of power efficiency and platform security to a mobile phone. Also based on S60 3rd Edition, Feature Pack 2, users can choose from thousands of applications from the S60 applications library and have access to their favorites by using dedicated hot keys.

Samsung Pixon M8800

Samsung introduced a new phone called the Pixon last month. Pixon is equipped with an 8 megapixel camera with auto-focus, fast-shutter, face detection, geo-tagging and LED flash.

The pixon features 3.2-inch screen offering 240x400 resolution and TouchWiz, similar to Omnia. The 8-megapixel camera offers maximum image resolution of 3264x2448 with auto-focus, face-recognition, Wide Dynamic Range, Advance Shake Reduction, GPS geo-tagging support, and WSVGA and VGA video recording at 30fps. Based on the Qualcomm MSM6281 chip, the M8800 will offer 3G support for faster Internet, in addition to support for quad-band GSM and tri-band HSDPA networks. Surprisingly the M8800 will not feature Wi-Fi and a 3.5mm jack.

The Samsung pixon, is a touchscreen phone that will compete directly with the LG KC910 Renoir which also sports an 8-megapixel camera. The LG KC910 might carry expected price of $800, while Samsung M8800 will be priced at $979.
