Recently, LG announced the GS290 Cookie Fresh, the latest feature phone to join LG's Cookie series of devices. LG being the pioneer in affordable touchscreen feature phones has lost its way to Samsung, thanks to aggressive launches and marketing of Corby series, now getting into business with slew of launches in Cookie portfolio with Cookie plus already announced.The Cookie Fresh offers a 2 megapixel camera, a 3-inch WQVGA display, an FM radio, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device also runs LG's proprietary "cartoon user interface" that makes it easy to access your favorite programs and social networks from the home screen.
The Cookie Fresh will be available in fresh, blue, pink, purple, light green, and silver. LG says the device will be sold alongside the LG Cookie Plus in Europe in March 2010.
