Google desktop now for linux

You need no longer crib for non availability of Google desktop search for Linux. Yes it is available now for Linux just after they launched it for Mac.

Searching the files on your computer will be easier and fast from your linux machine. You can search your Openoffice files and also emails saved in Gmail. You can search into your source code files if you are a developer plus the documents in .ps and .pdf formats to making it a universal search engine. Linux info pages in .man and .info are also in ambit at just the press of a hotkey, just press Ctrl key twice. And yes it is multilingual having support for English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean languages.
